Laura Occhipinti

In 2004 Laura Occhipinti was working in social services when she took a new job at a hospital that was an hour away.  After relocating, she knew she needed to make friends in the area but had no idea how.  She started a Yahoo group centered around social networking and recruited members by hanging flyers and posting online.  Within 2 years her accidental business, New Jersey Young Professionals, was so big she decided she had to quit her job and run it full time! She has been self-employed ever since (and loving it).

In 2006, she launched the Multi Group Mixer (formerly known as the Young Professionals Multi-Group Mixer) http://www.multigroupmixer.com/ and hundreds attended even though she had spent $0 on marketing.

Through the years,she unofficially coached friends and family on how to launch websites and market their businesses.

In 2014, she decided to make her coaching business more official and offer it to the general public.  She started http://www.lauraocchipinti.com/

She continues to market her businesses on a shoe string budget; often finding new clients without having to spend any money.

Laura is married and has two beautiful daughters. She resides in Glen Rock, NJ.
